Charlotte Owen is the Editor-in-Chief of Bustle and EVP of Editorial, where she acts as the creative and strategic lead to a team of 70 writers, editors, and creatives.

Charlotte started her career at Vanity Fair where she remained for over six years, serving as a Managing Editor on the annual art issue and Digital Strategy Editor for the British section of VF.com. Her writing has appeared in Vogue, The Independent, and Metro, and she has served as a judge for the Digiday Media Awards and the National Magazine Awards.
Originally from Birmingham, England, Charlotte is a graduate of the University of Oxford, where she studied History and English Literature. She enjoys wine and good books, and is based in New York.
